Photo from our first walk in February 2017

Legstretchers is the long-distance walking group of Norfolk Ramblers, which was re-established in February 2017. The group offers walks around the county of Norfolk which are a length of around 18 miles and these take place on the first Sunday of every month.

Our list of walks are published in issues of the Norfolk Ramblers area news which is sent to our members, as well as being listed on Facebook and Meetup.

The walks we offer are also listed on our walks page and there are now some photos from previous walks on this page.

2019 is the first year we’re offering a weekend away, and we hope to make this an annual event. We will also be starting group social events in 2019, how exciting! Especially if we can keep Dave off the shots as he gets a bit enthusiastic.

Non-members of the Ramblers are welcome to walk with the group, although the walks are at a brisk pace, so it’s best to be confident in being able to do the distance. Here’s a FAQ full of questions and answers that have already been asked (mainly by one person if we’re being honest), please read this so you know what to expect.

Here’s some information about what to expect on a walk. Oh, and we need walk leaders too! Contact us (using the strict rules on who to contact) if you have any questions.
